 CANCUN COZUMEL
Getting from Cancun to Cozumel and back is a "day-trip". Allow one full day for this activity.
Fist you have to get to Playa del Carmen, which is where the ferry is to Cozumel.
From Cancun you can take the bus [easiest way], take a taxi [expensive], or rent a car and drive yourself [better to take the bus].
The main bus station in Cancun City has busses departing and returning to Playa del Carmen all day. It's a one hour bus ride for under $10 USD.
From the bus station in Playa del Carmen you only have to walk a little to the docks. You can't get lost, the docks are right there and you can ask anyone to point them to you.
You then take the ferry to Cozumel. Take the same rout back to Cancun.
