Welcome to the world of mega-parties. An endless beach rave that only ends when you can no longer drag your sorry-ass off the floor for another shot.

Of course some hotels are not down with this. In fact they don't want a hotel filled with half-naked drunk people running around screaming at all hours of the night.

If you get an all inclusive hotel package then all your drinks are free. You also get food and a room to party in, although you can sleep there as well.

There is usually a lobby bar, a pool bar, a beach bar and a main bar so you don't have to walk far to get a drink and waist valuable party time.

The big party bars in the Cancun tourist zone are clustered around each other usually close to a mall. The main one is at Coco Bongo/HardRock Café party zone.

FAKE DOPE

People sell fake drugs and concoctions they make from mixing stuff they get at pharmacies. These people do not care one iota if you get sick or drop dead. Don't expect these people to always be Mexican. There are lots of desperate foreigners living on the coast struggling to get by. They get involved with the scammers as they are good for business breaking down language barriers.
